Local PTA/PTSA leaders are invited to join our budget roundtable, where we will discuss the important points of planning and implementing your PTA’s budget for the coming fiscal year. Bring your questions, and you might wish to have a copy of your current year budget or draft budget to refer to. Experienced treasurers and leaders are also welcome to join us, to share tips and experiences.

On April 24 at noon, join us on Zoom to learn about how our school district is planning to be future-ready for our students. How is LWSD anticipating and preparing to accommodate changing trends in elementary student registration and classroom structuring in the coming years? What curriculum can families expect to see next school year? LWPTSA Council’s Lunch & Learn series consists of short presentations and Q&A on topics of interest to our school community, from noon – 1 pm on select Thursdays online via Zoom. All local PTA leaders are invited to attend our monthly membership meetings, typically held the first Thursday of the month during the school year. Meetings will mostly be during daytime hours, with occasional evening meeting times, and will be a mix of in-person and virtual Zoom meetings. At least one elected leader from each of our area PTA/PTSA units is expected to attend each meeting. Additional leaders are always welcomed.
In-person membership meetings will be held at the Lake Washington School District Resource Center in Redmond Town Center. The LWSD Resource Center address is: 16250 NE 74th St., Redmond WA 98052. Zoom meeting links for our online meetings will be available in the Weekly Waves newsletter that all local PTA leaders receive.
