WSPTA Game Development Competition

2020-21 Game Development Competition Theme is HOPE

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Martin Luther King, Jr., A Testament of Hope: The Essential Writings and Speeches

The WSPTA Game Development Competition is a STEM-based program open to students in grades 9-12 attending a school with a PTA in good standing. The competition provides an opportunity for students, either individually or in teams of up to six members, to use their creative talents and express themselves by developing a game. New this year! To ensure all students have an equal opportunity to participate a new category has been added: best board game. No prior knowledge of programming is required. This year’s theme is Hope.

The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2021, and information can be found on the Washington State PTA website.
