PTSA volunteers collected clothing donations before and after school at drop off and pick up. PTSA volunteers and school staff worked together to sort clothing and accessories by size/age and gender.
The clothing swap was scheduled during elementary conference week, when almost all families visit the school campus. It was open to the whole school community and all items were offered for free. This simple program was virtually free and only required volunteer time.
The Clothing Swap was a big hit and Rose Hill Elementary PTSA is already planning to repeat the event again.
